Lights, Camera, Action! A lip dub is a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. It is made by filming individuals or a group of people lip synching while listening to a song or any recorded audio then dubbing over it in post editing with the original audio of the song. Often they look like simple music videos, however, this involves a lot of preparation, planning and production. To be certified as an official LipDub, all the filming has to be done in a one single unedited shot. The camera crew will use special equipment to be able to film, travelling through different rooms and situations within a building or outside area

The fun and team-building element lies in the fact that the scenes are planned out and orchestrated by the participant teams themselves. All sorts of costumes and props may be used to spice up and provide for a truly entertaining experience for the participants as well as the eventual viewers! The final, music video product is also a great memory for the company to treasure!
